There’s A New Airplane Coming To Town.

I just got to know that Malaysia Airlines will be having a new baby in town and its called the A380 which will operate sometime in the middle of this year! I haven’t been on the MAS or quite a bit and now that they’re going to have this new airplane, I can’t wait to book my next flight with this new product. MAS has always had superb services on their airplanes and I’ve had so many good memories traveling with my family for our random trips abroad.
And anything that is by Malaysia, for Malaysia has always gotten my biggest support!
I love the smell of new airplanes. *Sniff Sniff*
Malaysia Airlines is now inviting you, me (and the entire world I think) to join ‘The Big Flight’ Contest by sharing a video of your hidden talent! Who knows you might be the lucky chosen one to be the first to fly on the NEW MAS A380!
Since I love the smell of the new airplane I thought I’d have a go at this contest and share with your my sorta hidden talent. Watch this.

What do you think? I could go faster if the temperature wasn’t 3 degrees when I was shooting this video. *Brrrrr*I love tongue twisters since I was in school and I find it funny when you try to say it fast and get it all jumbled up in the process. I had my first tongue twister book when I was 8 years old and went through every single one of them trying to master it as fast as I can. We didn’t have Facebook during those days and this was just one for the fun-nest things to do!
Here’s some Tongue Twisters for you to try just for fun! See how fast you can go!
She sells seashells by the seashore.
If a woodchuck could chuck wood, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Betty Botter bought some butter,
“But” she said, “This butter’s bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
It will make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter –
That would make my batter better. “
So she bought a bit of butter,
Better than her bitter butter,
And she baked it in her batter,
And the batter was not bitter,
So ’twas better Betty Botter
Bought a bit of better butter.
If you want to be on that new airplane, log onto the website at go to to watch other hidden talents or join the contest.
Don’t forget to show your support for my hidden talent by clicking here If you have any other tongue twisters to share, feel free to share it with me and maybe I might just do another video to pronounce it the fastest I can with your name mentioned!

i love them too, my fav faster todate – A tooter who tooted a flute tried to tutor two tooters to toot. Said the two to the tooter, “Is it harder to toot, or to tutor two tooters to toot?” MUAHAHHAH…..

    Hi AZuan!

Thanks for the luck. He he. I can go faster but it takes a lot of practice though.

All the best to you 🙂 I can't even do the sea sell the sea shells thingy! haha

Of course, going somewhere once a month is also an option. Sometimes just taking a drive to Janda Baik for a splash of cold water can make up for a great weekend.

India to me is a colourful place with vibrant people and massive curry overload (yum~!). As for Myanmar, the gold stupas just gets to me. I want to see it for myself. 🙂

  7. R.a.W says:

No, I meant just go somewhere, at least once a month. Not necessarily fly somewhere, although most of the time, yes, that's the case since UAE is only connected by land with Oman and Saudi.

India can be a mind blowing experience. I have been to Delhi/Agra/Jaipur and would certainly love to explore other parts of the country too. Myanmar should be interesting to visit.

  8. Fie-Nuts says:

You try to fly somewhere once a month??? I really wish I have that luxury! I tried to be a co-pilot once on a small plane and got scared. Lol. The irony of it all.

Yes sir! I'll jot down the trip report for China! I want to go to India as well but noone will go with me. Same goes for Myanmar. Hu Hu. Hope I can find a travel partner soon.

With AirAsia and MAS, I'm sure you can, even if it's just for a weekend. I try to go or fly somewhere at least once a month, and have been doing so without fail for almost 3 years now. Seriously hoping to cover more of Asia soon. China sounds interesting, so am looking forward to reading your trip report for ideas and tips.

And oh, I prefer not to have my own pilot. It would surely cost a bomb retaining one while maintaining an aircraft too especially nowadays, what with escalating oil prices and more, eheh! So to me, being a pilot would just do. As I said previously, it's either a free ride or a cheap ride with a free upgrade 😉

You just got back from Bahrain? How lucky! I wish I can fly in and out of the country like you. Yes China is my next destination, after that who knows where these feet will bring me.

Thanks for the tips on Dubai & Middle East! I need to be realistic and plan for the trips after this. If not I'll end up eating maggi noodles everyday!

Wouldn't it be nice to have our own pilot to bring us wherever we want to?

  11. R.a.W says:

Yup, they stopped the service earlier this year saying that it's not a profitable route. Which actually made me wonder because Emirates fly to KL 3 times a day… If you're coming to the Middle East, Emirates might be your best bet. Check out its Arabian Pass, which would let you fly out of Dubai to other cities in the region at a very low cost (as compared to its full fare). Or if you just want to cover one city in the region, choose someplace other than Dubai, and make Dubai your stopover – so you'd get a 2-in-1 trip with just a return ticket 🙂

Oh how I wish I could be a pilot or an aircrew, just so that I could fly for free or on the cheap, haha! Money is not bad either… hmmm…

Not sure yet where I'll fly to next but inshaAllah I'll fly somewhere by end of the month. Still trying to work out my next destination. Just got back from Bahrain last week actually.

I presume you're heading to China soon if not already?

  12. Fie-Nuts says:

    Hey R.A.W.

I love that part too! It just makes me glad to be Home! How come MAS doesn't fly to Dubai anymore? I was just thinking of venturing out to the middle east. Hmm.

You have flown on a A380 twice or 3 times?? For a minute I read it as you flew the plane before! I love when any pilots make a smooth landing & take off.

Yes I have a fanpage on FB who are joined by people who just love to travel. When is your next trip again and to where?

  13. R.a.W says:

Yes, I love it whenever you fly back to KL from an overseas trip, the crew would announce, “To all Malaysians, welcome home…” Unfortunately MAS no longer flies to Dubai since the beginning of this year.

Re A380, I meant the best in terms of passengers' experience. I have flown on A380 twice or 3 times (?) already. All flights were smooth and so quiet. Everytime it is taking off though I would wonder if it could take off at all, lol, because it's just humongous, haha!

Oh oh! You have a fan page on FB?? Will definitely check it out! 🙂

  14. Fie-Nuts says:

Haha. Helo again my travel buddy! That's my favourite tongue twister 'the woodchuck one'. Hehe but the 'Butter bitter' is even harder to say! Thank you for the luck! *sprinkles rainbow all over R.A.W* I've always been supportive of our local airlines. Oh wow, it's the best aircraft there is? I can't wait to get on it (hopefully if I win that is) and you're right it will be an awesome experience.

By the way, are you a fan of the Bit by the Travel Bug FB page yet? :p

  15. R.a.W says:

My ears got twisted trying to figure out the 2nd tongue twister without referring to the write up, lol!

All the best, by the way! A380 is probably the best aircraft there is. To be on MH's maiden A380 flight surely would be an awesome experience!

  16. Fie-Nuts says:

Lol. TC Did you try or not?! Hehe. Actually your full name is already like a tongue twister tau. 🙂

  17. MY tongue would stuck if I do the twist =) Goodluck!
