#10DBC [Day 4] – Unlocking Your Super Powers
The 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge.
The 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge is about taking small actions and moving forward on a path that to building the momentum towards living life on my own terms. In other words, a more focused path, taking small steps toward a bigger goal.
The next challenge for Day 4 is to unleash my super powers into the world. In the third day post, I wrote about my how my perfect day would like, but not limiting it to random adventures that could cross my way. “Read #10DBC [Day3] – Creating a Vision for the Future“.
Super Power #1 – Problem Solver
I like to think that people come to me with to seek advice on solving their problems. While people might see this as a burden (including myself at one point in life), it has come to my attention that the reason they do so is because they can count on me to listen and understand what they’re going through. In an office environment, I would be the go-to person for my team whenever there are any issues that needs handling. When it comes to traveling, I would be the one to advice what we can do next. It’s definitely a plus point because I know they need me.
Super Power #2 – Adaptability
Traveling has helped me a lot in adapting to local cultures. Take this current job for example. When I mentioned to friends or family that I would be moving to Cambodia for work, they asked me why and what would I be doing there. In other words, would I be able to contribute to a country that’s still developing itself? Can I live daily without the sweet perks that I was used to back home? I can adapt easily and have no problems with leaving behind my car, house, food for a new experience.
Super Power #3 – Creative Spark
For me, everyone is creative in one thing or another and this is one super power we should keep forever. Having a creative spark means being able to imagine or dream, create things with your hands and come up with good problem solving ideas. I like to use this to produce content for this blog and to give brands the opportunity by uplifting their brand. I prefer to spend some quiet moments just noting down ideas for stories or writing interesting content for a campaign.
While waiting for the next challenge, I’ve realized that these challenges require baby steps. Since I’m always looking forward to new things, this would be a good exercise to improve the way I blog among other things.
